‘Ghar Se Nikalte Hi’ Actress Mayuri Kango had left the film industry in the beginning of 2000 and now she has joined the corporate world. He is now working with Google.
Jugal Hansraj and Anupam Kher starred in the movie Papa Kehte Hain? Actress Mayuri Congo was a popular face of the 90s. The song’s song ‘On coming out of the house’ was well-known in those days, which is still on the verge of publicity.
The lead actor of the song, Mayoori Kango has now joined Google India as its Industry Head – Agency Business. Mayoori left IIT Kanpur for an acting career and later, left acting as a career in 2003 after working with actors like Ajay Devgn, Anupam Kher, Arshad Warsi, Shakti Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rani Mukerji and Chandrachur Singh.
Mayuri, who came to Limelight in Mahesh Bhatt’s film, is now Google India ‘s industry head-agency business. They have chosen a different path for themselves.
Let me tell you, Mayuri stepped into the world of Entertainment at the age of 15. She debuted her acting with National Award Winning film ‘Nasim’ in 1995.
She was featured in films such as Betaabi, Hogi Pyaar Ki Jeet, Baadal and Papa The Great. Not only this, She was also did some shows like ‘Kahin Kisi Roz, Kitty Party, Kusum and ‘Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat.
Mayuri was getting offers in films but she left all this and married NRI Aditya Dhillon in December 2003 and then settled in US and pursued an MBA in marketing and finance from City University of New York-Baruch College – Zicklin School of Business.
Mayuri worked with the New York based Digital Agency 360i, where she worked as an Associate Media Manager. And, in Media and Zenith as Chief Digital Officer. They worked in the US from 2004 to 2012. After this she returned to India and settled in Gurujram where her son was born. Now she travels between Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. Mayuri was previously the MD of Performics.Resultrix, part of the Publics Group. She has also worked with Digital as Associate Director
In one of Mayuri’s interviews with TOI about her acting career,
She said, “I did about 16 films, and half of them never released. The 1990s weren’t a great time for actresses. All they had to do was dance around trees. So, I took up other jobs like writing scripts and making documentaries. In 2000, I entered the TV industry. In a few years, I got married and shifted to the US.”
